DDGM
Masonry is the oldest and largest fraternity in the world which asks men to develop themselves to be their best. To become a Mason a man must have a belief in a Supreme Being, be at least twenty-one years old and request to join the fraternity. Once admitted a Mason, there are opportunities to meet like minded individuals to work and to socialize as they strive to better themselves and their communities.

Our governing body is called The Grand Lodge and this Grand Lodge has many programs available to the lodges to assist them in 'raising the bar'. These Lodge Resources programs include Mentors, Brother to Brother, Friend to Friend, Officer Progression and Long Range Planning to name a few. These proven programs are available to the lodges that want them and do help in improving Masonry within Waterloo District. We also have several programs which work within our communities, these include Blood Donors, The Masonic Foundation and MasoniChip. Waterloo District's charitable work this year focuses on KidsAbility in Waterloo Region. The MasoniChip program is a child identification program offered at clinics throughout the District to provide positive identification of Children should the need arise.

With the able assistance of individuals who have agreed to be Chairmen of the various committees, we will be working in Waterloo District to meet our Grand Master's challenge to advance in our understanding of our craft and make Masonic Education a part of every lodge at every opportunity and to raise the already high standards even higher.

Thank You.
